• If you now keep the button "START/ENTER" depressed for longer ,
(approx. 3 seconds), all settings from the memory previously selected are
loaded. "LOAD" appears in the display.
The data is transferred and all settings are changed in accordance with the saved values.
15. Various Basic Settings ("USER SET")
You can view the entire menu structure in the correct order on the fold-out page. Here
the key functions for operating are also given.
• In the main menu, select the "USER" menu with the "BATT.TYPE/STOP" button.
• Press the button "START/ENTER"; the display shows the following, for example:
• Here you can select one of the three lithium battery types the charger is able to work with ("Lilo", "LiPo",
"LiFe").
• Briefly press the button "START/ENTER". The voltage value then begins to flash.
• With the buttons "INC" or "DEC", you can select the cell voltage "3.3", "3.6" or "3.7". At the same time,
the corresponding battery type changes in the top line.
• Confirm the selection of the lithium battery type with the button "START/ENTER", and the voltage val-
ue will stop blinking.
The settings made here for the lithium battery type then apply to ALL other functions, e.g.
charging, discharging, etc. (see chapter 10).
• With the button "INC", switch to the next setting (or to the previous one with the button "DEC").
• Here you can set the time in which the charger checks a connected lithium battery for the correct cell
count and terminates the charge process, if necessary.
• This may be especially helpful with fully discharged batteries. For a battery with a higher capacity set a
longer time; for one with a lower capacity set a correspondingly shorter time.
