16. VARIOUS SETTINGS ("USER SET")
Both charging channels are independent from each other. If you make any settings
for charging channel 1, they do NOT apply for charging channel 2.
Therefore, you need to programme the desired settings for both charging channels.
• In the main menu, select the "USER SET" menu with the "TYPE/STOP" button.

Here you can select one of the three lithium battery types the charger is able to work
with ("LiPo", "LiIon", "LiFe").
• Briefly press the button "ENTER/START". The voltage value then begins to flash.
With the buttons "+" or "-", you can select the cell voltage "3.3", "3.6" or "3.7". At the same
time, the corresponding battery type changes in the top line.
Confirm the selection of the lithium battery type with the button "ENTER/START", and the
voltage value stops flashing.
The settings made here for the lithium battery type then applies for ALL other
functions, e.g. charging, discharging, etc. (see chapter 11).
• With the button "+", switch to the next setting (or to the previous one with the button "-").

Here you can set the time in which the charger checks a connected lithium battery for
the correct cell count and terminates the charge process, if applicable.
This may be especially helpful with deep discharged batteries. For a battery with a
higher capacity set a longer time; for one with a lower capacity set a correspondingly
shorter time.
