WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine, be sure to start the follow-
ing work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.

Um durch plötzliches Anlaufen der Nähmaschine verursachte Verletzungen zu vermeiden, führen Sie die
folgende Arbeit erst aus, nachdem Sie den Netzschalter ausgeschaltet und sich vergewissert haben, daß
der Motor vollkommen stillsteht.

mettre hors tension et s'assurer que le moteur est au repos avant d'effectuer les opérations suivantes.

1) Fix belt cover (rear) 1 on the arm with screws 2 .
2) Fit belt cover (front) 3 to notch (upper) A and notch
(lower) B of the belt cover (rear).
3) Fix belt cover (front) 3 with screws 4 and 5 .
4) Fix belt cover auxiliary plate 6 at the position of 10
mm from the rear end with wood screws 7 when there
is a clearance of 2.5 mm between the belt cover and
the auxiliary plate.
5) When tilting the machine head, loosen wood screws 7
and move the belt cover auxiliary plate in the direction
of the arrow until it stops. Then, tilt the machine head.
After attaching the belt cover, confi rm whether
or not the respective cords do not come in
contact with the belt and the handwheel.
Disconnection of the cords will result when
they come in contact with one another.
1) Die Riemenabdeckung (hinten) 1 mit Schrauben 2
am Arm anbringen.
2) Die Riemenabdeckung (vorne) 3 in Kerbe (oben) A und
Kerbe (unten) B der Riemenabdeckung (hinten) einpassen.
3) Die Riemenabdeckung (vorne) 3 mit Schrauben 4
und 5 befestigen.
4) Die Riemenabdeckungs-Hilfsplatte 6 mit den
Holzschrauben 7 in einem Abstand von 10 mm von der
Hinterkante befestigen, wenn ein Abstand von 2,5 mm
zwischen der Riemenabdeckung und der Hilfsplatte besteht.
5) Zum Kippen des Maschinenkopfes die Holzschrauben
7 lösen, und die Riemenabdeckungs-Hilfsplatte bis
zum Anschlag in Pfeilrichtung schieben. Dann den
Maschinenkopf kippen.
Vergewissern Sie sich nach dem Anbringen
der Riemenabdeckung, daß die jeweiligen
Kabel nicht mit Riemen und Handrad in
Berührung kommen. Gegenseitige Berührung
dieser Teile kann zum Abtrennen der Kabel
führen.
