Um durch plötzliches Anlaufen der Nähmaschine verursachte Verletzungen zu vermeiden, führen Sie die
folgende Arbeit erst aus, nachdem Sie den Netzschalter ausgeschaltet und sich vergewissert haben, daß
der Motor vollkommen stillsteht.

Set the stitch dial to 0 [zero].
Loosen hook driving shaft set collar clamping screw 3 , and turn the handwheel counterclockwise to make the needle bar ascend

by 2.0 mm from the lowest position of its stroke.
In the state described in 2), align blade point 1 of the hook with the center of needle 2 , and tighten hook driving shaft set collar

clamping screw 3 . At this time, a clearance of 1.4 mm is provided between the blade point of the hook and the top end of the
needle eyelet. (As reference, the handwheel pointer meets the marker line of the scale L on the handwheel.)
Loosen screw 4 in the top face of the bed and screw 5 in the hook driving shaft saddle, and adjust so that a clearance of 0.02 to 0.1

mm is provided between the blade point of hook and the needle by moving the hook driving shaft saddle to the right or left. Once
the specifi ed clearance is obtained, securely tighten screws 4 and 5 .

Set the feed adjusting dial to maximum value, and check that the blade point of the hook does not come in contact with the needle.
The operation panel could come in contact with the thread stand when tilting the machine head.
To protect the relevant parts from contact, shift the thread stand to a position at which the thread stand does not
interfere with the control panel.

Die Bundklemmschraube 3 der Hakenantriebswelle lösen und das Handrad im Gegenuhrzeigersinn drehen, damit sich die

Nadelstange um 2,0 mm von der untersten Position ihres Hubs hebt.
In dem in 2) beschriebenen Zustand die Hakenmesserspitze 1 auf die Mitte der Nadel 2 ausrichten und die Bundklemmschraube

3 der Hakenantriebswelle festziehen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt besteht ein Spiel von 1,4 mm zwischen der Hakenmesserspitze und
dem oberen Ende der Nadelöse. (Der Handrandzeiger zeigt in diesem Zustand auf die Markierungslinie der Skala L des Handrads.)
Die Schraube 4 am oberen Ende des Bettes und die Schraube 5 im Sattel der Hakenantriebswelle lösen und durch Verschieben

des Sattels der Hakenantriebswelle nach rechts oder links so einstellen, daß ein Spiel von 0,02 bis 0,1 mm zwischen der
Messerspitze des Hakens und der Nadel besteht. Sobald das angegebene Spiel erreicht ist, die Schrauben 4 und 5 festziehen.

Das Vorschub-Einstellrädchen auf den größten Wert einstellen und überprüfen, daß die Hakenmesserspitze nicht in Kontakt mit der
Nadel kommt.
Beim Kippen des Maschinenkopfes könnte die Bedientafel in Kontakt mit dem Fadenständer kommen.
Zum Schutz der wichtigen Teile vor Kontakt den Fadenständer in eine Position verschieben, in der er nicht mit
dem Bedientafel in Kontakt kommen kann.
