5.2 Start-up and programming

1. Check that all the electrical, mechanical, and
hydraulic connections have been made. See
Electrical installation
stallation
on page 28, and
on page 29.
2. Turn on the power and the converter starts up.
– All the LEDs (7) (8) (9) (10) turn on and, if
there are no faults, turn off again within
10 seconds.
– The converter performs an autotest and the
LED (7) turns on.
– The display shows the software version.
NOTICE:
• The converter enters MANUAL mode upon initial
start-up. The mode at start-up is the same one
the converter was in when it was previously
turned off.
• After turning it off, wait a minimum of 20 seconds
before turning it on again. This is to prevent the
risk of overcurrent and tripping of the main switch
or earth protection, or burning of the fuse of the
converter.
The parameters in the basic menu can be edited
ONLY in MANUAL mode. Press (2) to switch be-
tween AUTOMATIC and MANUAL mode; the LED
(10) is off.
• In MANUAL mode, press and hold (3) for a few
seconds until the first parameter to be edited ap-
pears on the display and LED (10) flashes.
• Press (4) and (5) to edit the value of the parame-
ter, or (6) to confirm and select the next parame-
ter.
• Press (3) to exit the list of parameters to be edit-
ed and the LED (10) turns off.
• Press (2) to set AUTOMATIC mode and LED (10)
is illuminated and remains steady.
NOTICE:
– In automatic mode, the electric pump runs if
the pressure of the system is below the set
point.
• If necessary, press (2) to set MANUAL mode and
the electric pump turns off if running.
