CAUTION! If it is required to use perfumed essences in dry sauna, these are to be diluted in water with
supplied bucket (some drops/litre). When water is poured on stones, the diluted scents will emanate.
DO NOT POUR PURE ESSENCES DIRECTLY ON STONES AS THEY MIGHT CATCH FIRE!

BIO-SAUNA

In the bio-sauna mode, also the evaporator is activated.
Before starting the function, insert a certain amount of water into the evaporator tank:

The Bio-sauna function permits to maintain the pre-set temperature and humidity conditions (see table at
page 28); the most suitable values are in a range between 40 - 60 °C and relative humidity of 45 - 55%.
These settings are selected on the control panel before starting the function.
The perfumed essences may be put in the appropriate container, situated above the evaporator outlet.
Scents emanated as a result of hot steam effect are distributed inside the cabin together with the air jet.
When water reserve is finished, a warning buzzer, which can be heard inside the room, sounds.
At this point, the evaporation process of water stops.
IN CASE IT IS REQUIRED TO CONTINUE THE TREATMENT, it is necessary to STOP the BIO-SAUNA
function, by switching the sauna off or entering the Finnish sauna mode. Furthermore, wait at least 5 minutes
before filling the tank with water and re-activate the evaporator functions.
DANGER! NEVER POUR WATER ON THE EVEPORATOR RADIATING ELEMENT, IF INCANDES-
CENT. IN ADDITION TO BURN HAZARD, ELECTRIC HEATERS MAY BE DAMAGED.
CAUTION! Pour the perfumed essences to be sprayed only on the appropriate tray. Do not use infusion
extracts for sauna!
CAUTION! When using essences for sauna, always utilize first quality products having references, to
prevent risks for user's health.
CAUTION! In case the evaporator tank water is additivated by mistake, empty the tank through the
proper tap situated on its bottom. To carry out the operation, wait the tank to cool down, empty it and
wash it with a cloth soaked in alcohol. Even small essence residues on the evaporator sides may jeop-
ardize its functioning.
CAUTION! Do not use sachets of aromatic or unpacked herbs as they might get hot, particularly in the
absence of evaporation. FIRE HAZARD.
For safety reason, use aromatic herbs contained in aluminium sachets only.
The bio-sauna function has a lower impact on the body, therefore it can be endured by most people, espe-
cially by persons who take heat treatment for the first time.
The optimal conditions of a BIO-sauna treatment are a temperature of approximately 60°C and a 50% rela-
tive humidity.
BIO-sauna provides the same effects of a traditional dry sauna, but in a more delicate manner and it is par-
ticularly suitable to people who do not like intense heat.
