Place appliance pocket-down, if applicable, in a plastic container and wash with Isopropyl
Alcohol (≥ 99% IPA) using a two-bath approach with fresh ≥ 99% IPA each time. Using an
ultrasonication bath, wash for two (2) minutes (1st cycle), followed by one (1) minute (2nd
cycle). Container should be closed when placed in the ultrasonication bath. Wash each
appliance individually. (Figure 5 & 6)
CAUTION: Prolonged exposure to ≥ 99% IPA could cause changes to physical properties
of the appliance. Follow wash times carefully.
When washing bases with pockets, remove from irst bath cycle and use a wet brush (wet
with ≥ 99% IPA) to ensure tooth pockets are clean of residual resin. (Figure 7)
CAUTION: Residual resin in tooth pockets could afect it and bond.

When washing a try-in, remove from irst bath cycle and
use a wet brush (wet with ≥ 99% IPA) to wash occlusal

CAUTION: Residual resin on occlusal surfaces could
afect occlusion.
CAUTION: Do not wash dentures in "used" IPA.
Note: If using an Orbital Shaker, perform washing for three
(3) minutes (1st cycle) followed by two (2) minutes (2nd
cycle).
