Procedure for Fabrication: CURE FUSED DENTURE
For post-curing a Try-in, skip to section E.
CAUTION: Do not cure more than two (2) appliances at a time during post-cure step. This
can cause poor tooth bonding and poor it in an appliance.
1.
Carefully place up to two (2) dentures arches, occlusal/
tooth side facing up (Figure 17), on the turntable inside
the inLab Speedcure Processing Unit.
Note: When curing two (2) appliances at one time,
position anterior teeth of each appliance toward the
center of the turntable. (Figure 17)
CAUTION: Do not stack appliances or position
appliances in a way to allow for direct contact with
post processing unit bulbs.
2.
Select the menu option "Lucitone Digital" and then "Denture Base". The program will run for
ten (10) minutes followed by a 3-minute cool down. After one side is cured, lip the arch(es)
and cure the intaglio/tissue side using the same menu option. The program will run for ten
(10) minutes followed by a 3-minute cool down.
CAUTION: Handling the appliance before the 3-minute cool down may compromise it
accuracy.
E.
Procedure for Fabrication: TRY-IN POST-CURE
CAUTION: Do not cure more than two (2) appliances at a time during post-cure step.
1.
Carefully place up to two (2) try-in arches, occlusal/tooth side facing up, on the turn table
inside the Dentsply Sirona inLab Speedcure.
Note: When curing two (2) appliances at one time, position anterior teeth of each appliance
toward the center of the turntable. (Refer to Figure 17)
2.
Select the menu option "Lucitone Digital" and then "Try-In." The program will run for ten
(10) minutes followed by a 3-minute cool down. After one side is cured, lip the arch(es) and
cure the intaglio/tissue side using the same menu option. The program will run for ten (10)
minutes followed by a 3-minute cool down.
CAUTION: Handling the appliance before the 3-minute cool down may compromise it
accuracy.
F.
Procedure for Fabrication: FINISH AND POLISH
1.
Remove bar supports using cut-of disc or similar tool. Minimal inishing of the arch(es) may
be necessary.
2.
For inal dentures, follow your laboratory's recommended technique for inishing, festooning,
stippling and polishing devices.
