6.1.1

Installation conditions

Loss of protection class IP 65 and NEMA 4!
The CD01-P1 seals may age faster in aggressive ambient
conditions. Defective seals result in loss of protection class
IP 65 and NEMA 4.
Avoid aggressive ambient conditions, direct sunlight and
UV light.
The ambient conditions specified in the Technical Data must
be observed on installation in all cases (see online catalog).
6.1.2

Mounting orientation

Any mounting orientation may be used for the CD01-P1.
Ensure that enough free space is left for the electrical and
pneumatic connections so that the permissible minimum
bending radii for the cables and tubing are adhered to.
6.2

Mount on a surface

You can mount the VS on a surface as follows:
Insert the four mounting screws M5x30 or longer,
DIN 912 (40) in the four thru-holes as shown in fig. 9
(on page 71) and tighten them.
Max. tightening torque: 7 Nm
