Risk of death from dust explosion!
In areas with explosive dust atmospheres, compressed air and exhaust may not be
evacuated directly into the atmosphere. Dust accumulates in the system's atmosphere and
increases the risk of explosion.
Make sure that the compressed air and exhaust in the dust explosion protection area are
evacuated from the dust explosion protection area through tubing lines.
Danger of explosion due to self-ignition of dust!
If the cylinder surface reaches the smoldering temperature of the accumulated dust during
continuous operation, the dust will self-ignite and can lead to an explosion.
Ensure that the minimum ignition energy of the dust in the system atmosphere is > 1 mJ.
Safeguard the cylinder from dust deposits, e.g. through protected installation.
Danger of explosion through overheating caused by large dust deposits!
The accumulation of dust can cause the cylinder to overheat. The surface can no longer cool
down and is heated at uncontrollable rate. The resulting heat build-up presents an ignition
source and therefore an explosion hazard.
If there are large amounts of dust in your system's atmosphere, a protected installation
of the cylinder can prevent the formation of dust deposits.
Do not install a damaged product. Return the damaged
product and delivery documents to AVENTICS (the address is
printed on the back cover of these instructions).
