9. Malfunctions and remedial measure faults
Faults
Fault display control unit
High water floater 2+ high water
sensor
Water level in the aeration cham-
ber has exceeded maximum level.
Danger of plant overflowing.
Low water sensor:
Water level in the aeration cham-
ber has dropped below the mini-
mum level.
Excess pressure:
Exceeding the maximum
set pressure of the
pressure monitoring system
Negative pressure:
Falling below the maximum set
pressure of the pressure monito-
ring system
Overcurrent
(Current consumption too high)
Undercurrent
(Current consumption too low)
Battery voltage too low
Causes
- Level set too low
- Feed quantity too high
- Clear water syphon defective or
clogged
- Water cannot drain off.
Backup
- Level set too high
- Plant not sufficiently filled after
maintenance
- Tank leaky
- Checking whether the pressure is
set too low
- Compressor builds up excessive
backpressure:
- Valve block does not switch
- Vent hose is kinked
- Air syphons are clogged
- Aerator spark plug is clogged
- Checking whether the pressure is
set too high
- Compressor does not work or
works only inadequately
- Leak inside the InnoClean PLUS
system
- Value set too low
- Defect on the compressor
- Value set too high
- Compressor does not switch on
- Defective
- Internal microfuse in
control unit (3.15 A) has tripped
- Battery defective or service life
exceeded

Elimination
- Setting to 150 cm
- Checking the plant's feed quanti-
ties
- Checking the clear water sy-
phon's hydraulic performance
and cleaning it if necessary
- Providing free drainage in the
sampling duct.
- Setting to 80 cm
- Filling the plant with 1.20 m of
water
- Sealing the tank
- Setting to 300 mbar
- Checking and if necessary repla-
cing the valve block
- Removing any kinks
- Cleaning the air syphons
- Cleaning the aerator spark plug
- Setting to 10 mbar
- Checking the compressor's
efficiency (see chapter
"Maintenance")
- Checking all connections and
hoses for possible leakages/
Solutions
- Setting to 2.0 A
- Replacing the electrical compo-
nents and if necessary testing by
a qualified electrician
- Setting to 0.1 A
- Checking the compressor's
mains connection on the control
unit
- Replacement/ fuse
- Replacement battery
