5. Crank pin removal
Remove:
9 Crank pin
Plate A .................................................1

Pressure pin B....................................a
90890-02390
Removing steps
(1) By forcing the pressure pin B a with a
hydraulic press, remove the crank pin.
(2) Remove the crank pins from Crank 2
and Crank 3.
(3) Pressure pin should be pressed down
straight.
3) Assemble the crankshaft.

9 When reassembling the crankshaft, wash all
component parts in suitable cleaning solvent.
9 Always use new bearings and crank pins.
1. Fitting the crank pin
(to the crank 2 and crank 4)
1. Install:
9 Spacer B 1 (to crank pin hole)
9 Crank 2 3
Spacer B .............................................1

Support ...............................................2
90890-02394
2. Install:
9 Crank pin 4 (new)
NOTE:
9 Insert the crank pin into the pin hole by tapping it
with a copper hammer 5.
9 Apply Yamaha 2-stroke motor oil on the crank
pin.
