Cleaning

ATTENTION!
■ Burn hazard attributed to hot device parts and accessories! Let the device and
accessories cool off each time before you clean them.
■ Danger of electrocution! Prior to each cleaning, pull the mains plug out of the sock-
et. Never submerge the device, the mains cord, and the plug in water. Never place
the device in the dishwasher.
■ Do not spray any cleaners directly on the device.
■ When cleaning, do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners. They could damage
the surface. Do not use any metallic objects.
1. Take all removable parts out of the device (bowl, grill basket, grilling grate).
2. Clean the bowl and all accessories with warm water and a mild cleaner. The bowls and
the grill basket can also be cleaned in the dishwasher. The grilling grate and removal
handle are not suitable for being cleaned in the dishwasher.
3. If you want to clean the housing of the device and the heating elements, wipe them
off with a clean, damp cloth.
4. Allow all parts to dry off completely before you store the device in a clean, dry place
that is not accessible for children.

Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!

• Is the mains plug properly connected with the socket?
• Is the cable connected to the device?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.

• Check the fuse for your mains connection.
• Have you pressed the On/Off switch?
• Have you set a cooking time and temperature?
• Has the bowl being properly inserted?
• Did you try to cook different foods with different cooking
times all at once? If you would like to cook different foods,
make sure that the cooking times for the different foods
are similar!
• Was the set cooking time too short? Increase the cooking
time!
• The grill basket is overfi lled. Reduce the quantity of food.
