Operation
1. Put the desired accessories and food in the device (see sections "Using the grill bas-
ket", "Using the grilling grate").
2. Connect the device to a properly installed socket with protective earth contacts. The
socket must also be easily accessible after the device has been connected. The
mains voltage must correspond to the technical data of the device. The device will
automatically switch to standby mode.
3. Close the lid.
4. Set the desired programme via the control panel (see sections "Device overview –
Control panel" and "Cooking times and tips for preparing food").
Tip:
– Push the buttons
in increments of 1 minute when you briefl y push the button. If you hold the button
down, the time will change in increments of 10 minutes.
– Push the buttons + / - to manually adjust the desired temperature. The temperature
will change in 10 degree mode when you briefl y push the button.
You can also do this while cooking.
5. The device will immediately start cooking. The control light for the selected pro-
gramme will light up.
6. Once the set cooking time has expired, the supply of heat will automatically switch
off and a signal will sound. The control light will go out and the device will switch to
standby mode.
Notice: You can switch the device off manually at any time by pushing the On/Off
switch.
7. Push the On/Off switch again to switch the device off. The device fan will continue to
run for a few minutes to lower the temperature.
8. Open the lid and take the prepared food out of the device. We recommend using
potholders or kitchen gloves or the removal handle as the bowl, the accessories and
the food are very hot.
9. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket and allow the unit to cool off.
10. Remove the accessories you used.
11. Clean the device after each use (see chapter "Cleaning"). Do not allow any leftover
food to dry on the device.
