Safety notes

This device may be used by children ages 8 and over as well
■
as persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities
or those lacking experience and/or knowledge if they are super-
vised or have been instructed in how to safely use the device and
have understood the risks associated with operating the device.
Children may not play with the device.

Children must not perform cleaning and user maintenance of
■
the device unless they are 8 years of age or older and are su-
pervised.
Keep children under 8 years of age and animals away from the
■
device and the connection line.
The device is not intended to be operated with an external timer
■
or a separate telecontrol system.
Warning of hot surfaces! During operation, the device becomes
■
very hot. Be absolutely sure that you do not come into contact
with the heated parts during and after using the device. Only
touch the handles and the display when the device is in opera-
tion or directly after deactivating it. Only transport and stow the
device once it has cooled off completely. Use suitable kitchen
gloves to handle the device.
If the device is not supervised, before assembling, disassem-

bling or cleaning the device, it must always be disconnected
from the power supply.
Never immerse the device, the mains cord and the plug in water
■
or other liquids and make sure that there is no risk of them fall-
ing in water or getting wet.
If the device, the connection line or the device plug is damaged,
■
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or customer service or
by a similarly qualifi ed person (e.g. qualifi ed workshop) to avoid
any risks.
When cleaning, do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners.
■
Do not use any metallic objects.
Clean the bowl and all accessory parts, which have come in
■
contact with oil, with warm water and a mild detergent. The
bowl, the grill basket and grilling grate can also be cleaned in
the dishwasher.
