Using the grill basket
This insert is particularly suitable for preparing fresh or frozen potato wedges, roast pota-
toes and fries. The insert is also suitable for preparing vegetables, pieces of meat as well
as frozen products such as chicken nuggets or calamari rings etc.
Using the grilling grate
The grilling grate is suitable for e.g. grilling meat, fi sh or vegetables as well as for crisping
up rolls and other baked goods or for baking frozen baguettes, pizza etc.
1. Place the grilling grate in the bowl.
2. Place the food you would like to prepare on the grilling grate.
3. Once you are done cooking, remove your meals. We recommend always using pot-
holders or kitchen gloves as the bowl, the grilling grate and food are very hot.
4. Let the device cool off before removing the grilling grate.
Using the timer
You can programme the device up to two hours before it starts to cook. To do so, follow
the steps below:
1. Prepare the device as described under items 1–2 in the section "Operation".
2. Push the Timer button
(1 minute–2 hours).
3. Then press the On/Off switch. All control lights blink.
4. Select the desired programme and if necessary, vary the time and temperature (see
section "Operation").
5. The device will start to count down the timer. The Timer control light will illuminate.
6. Once the set time on the timer elapses, the device will automatically switch to the
selected programme. The control light for the selected programme will light up.
7. Once the set cooking time has expired, the supply of heat will automatically switch
off and a signal will sound. The control light will go out and the device will switch to
standby mode.

1. Place the removal handle in the grill basket:
– push the two metal rods together,
– push the metal rods into the receptacle on the grill
basket,
– make sure that the metal rods hook into the two
small loops (see image).
2. Fill the grill basket.
3. Place the fi lled grill basket in the device.
4. Close the lid.
5. Once you are done cooking, remove the grill basket
with the removal handle. We recommend always using
potholders or kitchen gloves as the bowl, the grill bas-
ket and food are very hot.
