Grilled Potatoes

Preparation:
1. Wash the potatoes and cut a cross-shaped notch into them on the fl atter side.
2. Rub salt into the potatoes.
3. Wrap each potato in a piece of aluminium foil which has had oil dabbed onto it.
4. Place the potatoes onto the low rack in the hot-air oven, set a temperature of 225°C and a
cooking time of approx. 30 minutes. Switch on the oven.
5. The potatoes are cooked when they yield to slight pressure.
6. After the potatoes have been cooked, unwrap them and place herb butter into the notches.
Tastes superb with fi sh or meat dishes (e.g. salmon cutlet or fi llet steak).
Bacon and Boiled Eggs

Preparation:
1. Place both racks into the hot-air oven and preheat the oven to 230°C.
2. Place the bacon on the high rack, reduce the heat to 180°C and allow it to grill for 4 minutes.
3. After 4 minutes, place the eggs in their shells on the low rack and leave them there for ap-
prox. 6 minutes (for soft eggs) or approx. 10 minutes (for hard-boiled eggs).
4. Remove the bacon when it is crispy.
