4.4 Installing the machine

After transportation of the individual assemblies to the machine site, install the machine using the following steps:

All work on the electrical equipment of the machine must be performed a qualified electrician, or trained
persons under the guidance and supervision of an electrician in line with electro-technical rules.
Caution! Do not switch on the on/off switch at this point. The machine must remain switched off until you
have finished installing the complete system.
Open the retaining screw
on the drive and pump
unit adjusting device,
push the drive unit into
the topmost position and
secure the drive unit in
this position by tighte-
ning the locking screw.

Unfold the platform for
the material container.

Place a bucket filled with
water on the platform
initially.

Undo the locking screw
and adjust the drive and
pump unit to its lowest
position so that the suc-
tion tube is immersed in
the bucket. The suction
pipe should not be posi-
tioned against the very
bottom of the bucket.
