2.3 Overview of the machine
The following section contains an overview of the most important parts of the machine; these parts are described individually
in the remaining chapters of the operating instructions:
1.
Drive unit
2. Pump unit
3. Compressor
4. Control unit
5. Mobile tube chassis
6. ON/OFF switch
7. Compressed air fitting with pressure
switch
2.4 Sound power level
In line with the 2000/14/EC directive, the following sec-
tion details the sound power level emitted by the machi-
ne. The plate shown below is attached to the machi-
ne and details the sound power level measured for the
machine.
2.5 Safety equipment
The following section lists the safety equipment installed on the machine.
Drive unit
Splash water protection hood
Control unit
On/off switch with undervoltage release
Splash water protection hood:
The machine's drive unit is provided with a hood to protect it against splash water.
The machine's drive unit is designed to comply with protection class IP22 and is thus not splash water pro-
tected. To ensure trouble-free operation, you must not operate the machine without the protective hood, as
splash water or rain could trip the ground fault circuit interrupter.
Control unit with undervoltage trip:
The control unit is provided with an undervoltage trip that automatically switches off the machine in case of an inter-
ruption to the power supply; this prevents unintended restarting of the machine when the power supply is restored.
Prior to using the machine, you must test the undervoltage trip to make sure it works.
In case of imminent danger, use the on/off switch to switch off the machine!
Before starting up the machine, familiarise yourself with the machine's safety equipment as detailed!
