• Carefully wash the filter in lukewarm soapy water, Fig. 21.
• Rinse the filter thoroughly with clean water.
• Carefully wring out the filter and allow it to dry.
• Oil the filter carefully, Fig. 22. Use engine oil.
• Close the cover of the filter housing.
If necessary, replace the filter.

Clean tank strainer
• Empty the tank and open the tank cap.
• Remove the tank strainer and then clean the tank strainer with a dry cloth and short
bursts of air pressure. (Fig. 23)
• Insert the tank strainer and close the tank cap.
If the tank strainer is full of holes or can no longer be cleaned, replace the tank
strainer, see section Spare parts, p. 41.
Cleaning the fuel filter
The fuel filter must be cleaned regularly to ensure maximum engine performance.
Cleaning is carried out every 300 hours or every six months and the fuel filter is
replaced every 1000 hours or after one year.
• Empty the tank and then disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel tap. (page 35 how to
drain fuel)
Tap can break, be careful when screwing in and out.
