Connecting power consumers
The windings of the appliance may break and the appliance may be
damaged. If the appliance switches off when you switch on a load, the starting
current of the load is significantly higher than the power of the appliance. In
this case, never restart the appliance with the load connected!
Electrical appliances such as drills etc. have a higher power consumption than
indicated on the manufacturer's label if they are used under difficult conditions.
• Connect the electrical appliances after the appliance has warmed up for about five
minutes.
• Set the fuse switch for the power supply to ON. The voltage indicator lamp lights up
red.
• If a load is added, set the fuse switch to OFF.
The built-in automatic voltage regulator (AVR) ensures a stable output voltage.
Disconnect power consumers
• Set the fuse switch to OFF.
• Remove the consumer unit.
Switch off
Never stop the appliance abruptly after heavy loads! Allow the generating set
to run for 5-10 minutes without load or only with a very low load to prevent
damage to the windings!
• Stop the motor by setting the on/off switch to OFF.
Risk of burns! The exhaust of the appliance can become very hot during
operation. Never touch the appliance with bare hands during operation. Allow
the appliance to cool down.
If the appliance is to be stored for a longer period of time, it is advisable to dry the
carburetor. See also Drying the storage carburetor p. 34.
