Risk of device damage! The device has an oil sensor. On delivery, there is not
enough oil in the motor to start the appliance. Be sure to top up the oil! See
section Refilling oil on page 27.
Device damage imminent! Incorrect fuel can damage the appliance. Never fill
up with E10 or diesel fuel.
The appliance must be switched off before refueling and must never be
refueled during operation!
Risk of burns! Before refueling, switch off the appliance and wait until it has
cooled down. Even after operation, the exhaust and many parts can become
very hot and cause a fire if they come into contact with fuel.
• Refuel only in well-ventilated areas.
• Bring the appliance into a stable position on the floor.
Danger to the environment. Gasoline can get into the soil through spills. Use a
suitable base for refueling.
Danger of poisoning. Never open the fuel tank quickly. Fuel can spray out due
to overpressure! The fuel may contain substances similar to solvents. Avoid
skin and eye contact and inhalation of the fuel.
• Slowly open the fuel tank.
• Turn the lid counterclockwise.
• Remove the lid.
