Solution
Just set up the appliance. Check the oil
level and top up the engine oil to just above
maximum if necessary.
Another common source of error is
incorrect measurement of the oil level. See
Measuring oil p.29.
Ensure that there is sufficient fuel in the tank
(if the level is too low, the fuel can collect in
a possible sink). Open the fuel tap (it must
point downwards). Remove the fuel hose
from the carburetor and check whether fuel
is coming through the hose when the fuel
tap is open. Clean the fuel filter. This can be
blocked by impurities.
Check all visible cable connections for
tightness. (Cable connections to motor
switch)
Pull the cable through with more speed
and force. Start the device as described in
section "Commissioning", p. 21.
Clean the air filter as described in Cleaning
the air filter, page 28.
