• Set the fuse switch to OFF.
• Set the choke lever to the cold start position (left stop).
For a warm start, move the choke lever to the operating position (stop on the right).
• Pull the cable pull evenly and firmly.
• Let the cable reel up in a controlled manner - do not simply let go.
• The appliance starts after pulling the cord one to three times.

Risk of device damage. The cable pull can break. Never pull the cable pull
over the edge.
If the device does not start, there is something wrong with the start configuration
or the start setting. Go through the points from cold start p.23 again. If this is not
successful, refer to section Troubleshooting p.36.
• As soon as the device has started, move the choke lever to the operating position
(stop on the right).
Never pull out the cable while the appliance is running. There is a risk of injury
and damage to the appliance if the direction of rotation changes suddenly.
