Read the operating instructions carefully!
The operator must read and understand the operating instructions to ensure safe handling.
Even operators with experience of the appliance must read and understand the operating
instructions. Inadequately informed operators can endanger themselves and others through
improper use. Keep the operating instructions within easy reach. The operating, maintenance
and cleaning personnel must read the operating instructions. If the device is passed on to a
third party, also hand over the operating instructions.
Intended use
The operational safety of the appliance is only guaranteed if it is used as intended in
accordance with the information in the operating instructions. Any use of the appliance
other than the intended use is considered improper use. Only use the device for applications
that are intended for operation on a 230 V AC voltage source. Observe the restrictions in
the safety instructions. Use only unleaded gasoline as fuel and only 10W-30 or 10W-40
four-stroke engine oil as lubricant for the appliance.
Foreseeable misuse
• Never use the device to feed power into a home network or camping caravan.
• Never use E10, diesel or Aspen as fuel. Never use oils other than those used to lubricate
the appliance. Never add oil to the fuel.
• Always top up with oil, even if there is oil residue in the appliance.
