10.3 Technical fault
Your appliance is designed and built to ensure it works reli‐
ably and has a long service life. In the unlikely event that
a fault occurs during operation, please check whether it is
due to an operating error. If so, you will be charged for the
callout and repair costs even if it falls within the warranty
period.
You can fix the following faults yourself.
10.3.1 Appliance function
Remedy
u Switch the appliance on.
u Check the power plug.
u Check the fuse.
u Keep the appliance closed.
u Protecting food: Lay freezer packs on top of the food or
use another freezer if the power is off for a prolonged
period.
u Do not re-freeze defrosted food,
u Check the appliance plug.
u Close the appliance door.
u Keep ventilation grille clear, and clean it.
u Problem solution: (see 1.2 Appliance range of use)
u Wait to see if the required temperature corrects itself.
If not, contact Customer Service. (see 10.4 Customer
Service)
u Turn down the temperature and check after 24 hours.
u Move the appliance or the heat source.
u Check if the appliance was installed correctly and that
the door closes properly.

u Check that the door seal is well fitted in the groove.
Remedy
u Switch the appliance on.
u Interior lighting turns off automatically after approx. 15
min. with the door open.
