8.7 Lid for ColdFresh with humidity
control
You can remove the compartment cover for cleaning.
8.7.1 Removing the compartment cover
Ensure that the following conditions are met:
Bottle shelf is removed (see 8.5 Adjustable bottle shelf) .

If the drawers are removed:
u Pull the lid forward (1) until it reaches the opening in the
retaining parts.
u Lift from the back and pull it up and out (2).
8.7.2 Inserting the compartment cover

If the text THIS SIDE UP points upwards:
u Insert the lip of the cover over the opening of the rear
bracket (1) and click into place (2).
u Position the cover where you want it (see 8.8 Adjusting
the moisture levels) .
8.8 Adjusting the moisture levels
You can adjust the moisture in the drawer yourself by
adjusting the compartment cover.
The compartment lid is attached to the drawer and can be
hidden by a shelf or additional drawers.

Low air humidity
u Open the drawer.
u Slide the compartment cover forwards.
w With the drawer closed: Gap between the cover and the
compartment.
w The air moisture in the Safe decreases.
High air moisture
u Open the drawer.
u Slide the cover back.
w With the drawer closed: The cover seals the compart‐
ment.
w The air moisture in the Safe increases.
If there is too much moisture in the compartment:
u Choose the setting "low air moisture".

u Remove any excess moisture with a cloth.
Note
You can apply the "low air moisture" setting to the Fruit &
Vegetable-Safe and the Meat & Dairy-Safe.
u Set the "low air moisture" option.
8.9 Ice cube tray with lid
8.9.1 Using the ice cube tray

When the water is frozen:
u Hold the ice cube tray briefly under warm water.
u Remove the lid.
u Gently twist the ends of the ice cube tray in opposite
directions.
u Release the ice cubes.
8.9.2 Disassembling the ice cube tray
The ice cube tray can be disassembled for cleaning and for
removing the ice cubes.
