Special safety instructions for this machine
Never reach into the running machine.

Never open covers or safety devices when the machine is running.
•

Do not wear safety gloves when working (rotating parts).
•
Remove chips and workpieces when the machine is at a standstill.
•
Never brake the machine by hand when it is running down.
Never take measurements on rotating workpieces.
•
Always machine unshaped workpieces at low spindle speed to a round shape.
•
Only work on safely clamped workpieces.
•
•
Before clamping the workpiece between two centers, provide it with a centring hole on
both sides.
•
Remove nails and other foreign substances from the workpiece before machining.

Hazard warnings
Residual risks
Despite intended use, certain risk factors cannot be completely eliminated:
Risk of injury to hands/fingers from freely rotating workpiece during operation and
