Replace drive belt position
Adjust the appropriate drive belt position as described below.
Risk of injury due to unintentional switching on the machine!
Always disconnect the machine from the power supply before carrying out
setting, maintenance or servicing work and secure it against unintentional
connection.

• Set the spindle speed, depending on the drive belt
position, with the rotary regulator of the switch unit
(1).

Spindle speed range
A: 650–1450 rpm
B: 1250–2800 rpm
C: 1600–3800 rpm
Remove the side cover by loosening the screws
(1a).
Open the bracket of the switch unit (1).
Remove the pin from the hinge (2) and place the
switch unit next to it.
Release the locking lever of the motor plate (3).
Lift the motor by the belt tensioning handle (3a).
Loosen the screw of the cover on the back of the
headstock (4) and remove it.
Position the drive belt on the desired spindle
pulley (5).
