2.3. Conditions of use
Maximum working pressure (pressure at the pumping pressure of the booster, derived
from the sum of the inlet pressure and the pressure increase provided by the booster):

Maximum permissible ambient temperature at the installation location of the booster
+40ºC.
Do not operate the booster beyond the flow and head ranges indicated on the
information plate of the pumps.
Do not start the booster with no liquid in it and do not start the booster without a
thorough air purge beforehand.
Do not operate the booster with no flow rate or with a flow rate of less than 10% of
the nominal flow rate, to avoid overheating and possible breakdowns resulting from
overheating.
Check that the maximum liquid temperature is within the range allowed by the pump
type (see pump manual).
Check that the maximum number of consecutive starts in one hour is less than the limit
specified by the pump manufacturer (see pump manual).
Optimum operation of the booster is achieved within the range indicated on the
information plate of the pumps.
Do not use Franklin Electric pressure pumps in potentially explosive environments or with
flammable liquids.
