9. ALARMS AND POSSIBLE ANOMALIES
Anomaly
The oven does not switch on
and the digital thermometer
display (where present) is off.
The display is off even though
the main switch is in position
"1" and there is power.
The digital thermometer
display is showing "PF".
The digital thermometer
display is showing "or".
The internal lighting lamp
does not light up.
The cooking chamber does
not heat up properly.
The temperature continues to
rise beyond the settings made
via the thermostats.
The burner does not light up
and the red gas reset button
on the control panel lights up.
The burner ignites but only
remains lit for a few seconds.
The burner flame is too
yellow.
MALFUNCTIONS
Possible Cause
No electricity in the mains.
The main switch is off (positioned to
"0").
The safety thermostat has cut in.
The digital thermometer is faulty.
The temperature probe is faulty.
Temperature reading limit.
The control thermostat is likely to be
faulty.
There is no power supply to the
lamp.
The lamp switch is faulty.
The transformer is faulty.
The lamp has burnt out.
The set temperatures are too low.
The thermostat probe or thermostat
contacts are faulty.
No gas or insufficient pressure.
Ineffective electrode

Check the main contactor, socket, plug
and power cable.
Turn the main switch to position "1".

thermostat by pressing the red button
located on the thermostat body.

Check the electrical connection.
Replace the lamp switch.
Replace the transformer.
Replace the lamp.
Correctly set the temperatures.
Check and replace the thermostat if
