of metal, wood, plastics and similar materials. Handling
processes are also permissible.
The partly completed machinery is only intended for use
in an industrial context and must only be used for auto-
mated, not for manual, operations.

ntegrAtiOn intO the emergency stOp cir
cuit
It is the responsibility of the user to integrate the
EFC-02 as well as any mounted tools into the
emergency stop circuit of the system into which
they were implemented. Stop category according to EN
ISO 13850:
If, on activation of the emergency stop circuit, the power
supply to the EFC-02 is interrupted, it can no longer car-
ry out any active lifting motion, however, it is not fixed in
place. Depending on the mounted position, gravity may
cause the EFC-02 to move in an uncontrolled manner un-
til reaching the upper or lower final position.

2.1 s
Afety instructiOns fOr
Before any work is carried out, it must be
ensured that the system is not connected
to a power source. The producer/distribu-
tor is responsible for ensuring that persons cannot come
into physical contact with the partly completed machinery
while this is in operation.
Only a qualified person may connect the electrical power
supplies in accordance with the local regulations.
The local grounding regulations must be observed and
implemented, and this implementation inspected.
Under extreme conditions with strong generation of dust,
a dust extraction system must be used. The operational
current of 48V must not be exceeded.
2.2 A
ssemBly instructiOns
Two persons must work together
to mount the partly completed ma-
chinery. The partly completed ma-
chinery must always be carried with two hands. Never
hold the EFC-02 at the bellows. Strong pressure on the
bellows as the EFC-02 enters presents a crushing hazard
to fingers.
2.2.1 A
dApter plAte
The contact surfaces between the EFC-02 and the adapt-
er plate as well as between the adapter plate and the ro-
bot / static receiver must be clean and level.
