18. Prepare for Installing the Fixed Panel Cleat
Inside of Shower
CAUTION: Risk of property damage. The header can fall if not held securely. Two people should perform this
installation.
From inside the shower, place the header on top of the fixed panel. Verify that the header sits tight on the fixed panel
header seal.
Position the cleat so that the cleat aligns parallel with the mark made in the
section.
Using painter's tape, secure the header to the fixed panel.
Loosen the cleat screws. Slide the cleat flush against the wall. Tighten the cleat screws.
Mark the wall to drill two holes.
Remove the header from the fixed panel.
Using a 5/16" drill bit, drill two pilot holes and install the provided wall anchors.
If the header seal is removed with the header, reinstall the header seal on the fixed panel.
