16. Drill Pilot Holes in the Header

Measure 2" (51 mm) from each end of the header and mark the location on the groove of the header cover.
Using a 5/32" drill bit, drill a hole through both the header and header cover at the marked location. Do not drill past
the channel in the header.
Separate the header cover from the header.
Using a 1/4" drill bit, enlarge the pilot holes in the header cover only. Do not enlarge the holes in the header.
