9. Prepare the Pivot Panel

CAUTION: Risk of personal injury. Two people are recommended for this step. Do not remove the corner
protectors from the pivot panel.
CAUTION: Risk of property damage. Do not rotate the glass on the corners.
IMPORTANT! Prepare the pivot panel now. Positioning the pivot panel within the shower/bath is difficult if the fixed
panel and header are installed.
IMPORTANT! Verify that the hinge clamp screws face the inside of the shower. Verify that the label on the pivot panel
faces the outside of the shower.
If a table is available: Carefully place the pivot panel on a table with the label on the glass facing downward.
If a table is not available: Carefully place the pivot panel on a soft surface with the handle holes on the bottom, as
shown. Verify that the sticker on the glass is facing outward.
Loosely assemble the hinge clamps.
Slide the hinge clamps onto the glass 8" (203 mm) from the edge. Tighten the hinge clamp screws. Verify that the hinge
clamps will not move.
Place the pivot panel in the shower. Verify that the bottom hinge clamp is on the bottom.
Verify that the screws on the hinge clamp face toward the inside of the shower.
