Milky oil
Device damage
If the oil is milky, inform authorized Customer Service
immediately.
1. Check the oil level of the high-pressure pump (see
chapter Check the oil level in the high-pressure
pump).
Weekly
1. Clean the water filter (see chapter Cleaning the wa-
ter filter).
2. Check the fuel filter and replace it if necessary.
Half-yearly
1. Check the booster heater (see chapter Checking
the booster heater).
2. Clean the sieve in the safety block (see chapter
Cleaning the sieve in the safety block).
3. Unscrew the high-pressure hose from the water out-
let. If there is a clear, white layer of lime in the water
outlet, descale the device. If there is a thick layer of
lime, descale frequently.
22
Every six months or as required
1. Drain the fuel tank.
2. Clean the fuel tank.
3. Clean the fuel filter.
4. Clean the fuel nozzle.
5. Clean the heating coil.
a Desulphurise the heating coil.
b Remove soot from the heating coil.

4. Check the electrode gap.
Adjust the electrode gap if necessary.
Cleaning the sieve in the safety block

pletely depressurised.
2. Pull out the securing clip.
3. Pull the hose section out of the safety block.
4. Pull the sieve out of the safety block.
5. Clean the sieve under running water.

Replacing the oil in the high-pressure pump
For the oil type and filling quantity see chapter Techni-
cal data.
1. Provide a catch pan for at least 1 litre of oil.
2. Unscrew the oil drain plug.
3. Drain the oil into the catch pan.
4. Screw in the oil drain plug.
5. Slowly fill with new oil until the middle of the oil level
indication is reached. Air bubbles must be able to
escape.
Descaling the device
If deposits accumulate in the pipelines, this will increase
the flow resistance and the motor load will get too high.
DANGER
Flammable gases
Risk of explosion
Do not smoke during the descaling process.
Ensure good ventilation.
