Scraping
• Use a high oscillation rate when
scraping.
• Work using low pressure and at a
low angle in order not to damage the
substrate material.
Inserting and removing
the battery
WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Only insert the re-
chargeable battery into the device once
the device is fully prepared for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incorrect
battery can damage the device and bat-
tery.
Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (10) along the guide
into the battery holder (14).
You will hear the battery click into
place.
Removing the battery
1. Press and hold the battery release
(13) on the battery (10).
2. Pull the battery out of the battery
holder (14).
Switching on and off
Switching on
1. Press and hold the On/off switch
(15).
Switching off
1. To turn it off, release the on/off switch
(15).
2. Wait until the power tool has stopped
before placing it down.
3. When taking a break: Set the dir-
ection of rotation switch (8) to the
centre. These safety measures prevent
accidentally starting the power tool.
4. Remove the rechargeable battery
(10) from the device if you are leav-
ing the device unattended or if you
have finished working.
Transport
Information on transporting the device:
• Switch off the device and remove the
rechargeable battery. Make sure that
all moving parts have come to a com-
plete stop.
• Remove the attachment tool.
• Always carry the device by the
handle (9).
Cleaning, maintenance
and storage
WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Protect yourself
when performing maintenance or clean-
ing work. Switch off the device and re-
move the battery (10).
You should have any repair and mainten-
ance work that is not described in these
instructions carried out by our Service
Centre. Only use original replacement
parts.
Cleaning
WARNING! Electric shock! Never
spray down the device with water.
NOTICE! Risk of damage. Chemical sub-
stances may attack the plastic parts of
the machine. Do not use any cleaning
agents or solvents.
