N.B. All these operations should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.
Power panel Rif. 6:
1 - Electronic supervisor PJ32
2 - Light switch
3 - Main circuit breaker
4 - Power socket
A too low setting may compromise the correct operation of the cabinet and alter the normal
thermostatic pauses.
N.B. All these operation should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.
Version with remote condenser unit:
Control of the refrigeration temperature is made using the mechanical thermometer on the intake sheet
metal (Fig. 7 Rif. 8). An electronic supervisor CAREL (Fig. 6 Rif. 5) for control and regulation of the
temperature is available on request, as an optional. Normally the controller is set in the factory during
testing, but it is possible to alter programming. To do so, please refer to the instructions given by the
control device manufacturer.
N.B. All these operation should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.
11.Cabinet loading (Fig. 7)
A number of important rules should be followed in loading the cabinet:
- arrange the items in a uniform way so as not to exceed the loading limit line (Rif. 9) and in order to
prevent obstructing the correct circulation (Rif. 10) of air that may otherwise cause the temperature
to rise and ice to form on the evaporator.
- the uniform arrangement of the goods, without empty spaces, assures the best operation of the
cabinet.
- it is best to first sell all the goods that have been in the cabinet for a longer time with respect to the
fresher incoming goods (foodstuff turnover).
12.Defrosting and water discharge (Fig. 8)
The Aspen line of refrigerated cabinets is equipped with an off-cycle defrost system consisting of
stoppages of the refrigeration cycle (the Aspen ventilated version has 4 40-minute defrost cycles
a day):
Version with incorporated/remote condenser unit:
The water resulting from defrosting reaches a specific drain and is gathered in a basin located in the
cabinet base (Rif. 11). For practical reasons a drain should be provided in the floor.
Version with remote condenser unit:
To drain the defrosting water follow the procedure below:
- provide a slightly sloping drainage in the floor (Rif. 12);
- hermetically seal the water draining area of the floor.
This procedure prevents the risks of bad smell inside the refrigerated cabinet, dispersion of refriger-
ated air and possible malfunctioning due to humidity.
N.B.Periodically have a qualified installer check that the hydraulic connections are in a perfect
state.
13.Anti-steaming and anti-condensation
The cabinet is equipped with hot cables that eliminate any possible steaming or condensation phe-
nomena.
14.Lighting
The internal lighting of the cabinet is provided by fluorescent lamps.
The light switch is located on the electric panel illustrated in Fig. 5 Rif. 6(2).
15.Lamp replacement (Fig. 9)
To replace the lamp, follow the instructions below:
- Disconnect power to the cabinet;
- Remove the fastening screws 1 of the polycarbonate cover 2;
- Remove the caps 3, take out the lamp 4 and replace it with a new one;
- Restore the caps, making sure that the contacts are correctly housed in the relevant holes;
