Connecting cables CM-connect in the AHU
The CM-connect is identical to the CM-basic in appearance. The internal and external Modbus are available via
software in the CM-connect.
Within one building, the CM-connect's are connected in series.
The internal Modbus is intended to connect the CM-connects with each other. This is an optional function.
The connections via the internal and external Modbus are made using the Modbus RTU protocol. For more
information, see:
Modbus over Serial Line Specification and Implementation Guide, V1.02;
Modbus Application Protocol. V1.1b3.

Attach the connector of one 230 V AC power supply cable (Fig. 5.8, pos. 13) or one 24 V DC SELV
power supply cable (Fig. 5.8, pos. 11).

Connect the internal Modbus (Fig. 5.8, pos. 10) with the internal Modbus (Fig. 5.8, pos. 10) of the next
CM in the series.

Once the systems are connected, the installation wizard in the web server (see paragraph 6.3) can be
run.

Connecting cabling CM-connect per house
Connect the CM-connect's in series.
The last CM-connect in the series only receives the Modbus connection from the previous CM-connect.
The connections via the internal and external Modbus are made using the Modbus RTU protocol. For more
