5.4 Installation of the VM's
The VM's are not designed to support existing air ducts. The air ducts present must be adequately
supported independently by support brackets installed in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Ensure that the VMs are mounted on a flat wall or ceiling.
The VM's must be mounted mechanically stress-free between the air ducts.
Make sure that the VM's are placed as closely as possible to the existing air ducts.
Always tighten the screws of the wall bracket by hand. Preferably do not use power tools for this.
Use the drilling template provided on the box, observing the air direction arrow in combination with the
product contour.
After removing the VM-interior from the VM frame, it is important to store it in a safe and clean way.
Dowels and screws are not included.
The VM interior is mounted in the VM frame on delivery. If necessary, the VM-interior can be taken out of the
VM-frame during assembly and then clicked back in again.
Always place VM's in the direction of airflow. The direction of airflow is indicated by an arrow on the VM.
