5.4.1

Changing the air flow direction of the VM

The air flow direction of the VM can be reversed when required for example for supply and extraction air. The

VM interior can be clicked out of the VM frame (see paragraph 5.3) and then turned around. Then it can be

slid back into the VM frame (see paragraph 5.3).

Always slide the VM-interior straight (perpendicular) in and out of the VM-frame and make sure it clicks in at

four points. Do not tilt as this can damage the foam.

The two labels (one on the front of the VM and one on the inside of the VM frame) must be signed off (by

placing check marks). This can be used to indicate the air flow direction and the zone, so that the VM's

cannot be accidentally swapped.

5.5 Fitting the silencer

The weight of the silencer must NOT rest on the VM.

Mount the silencer between the VM and the air duct. It is preferable to place the silencer on the house side of

the VM. In case of questions, please contact the silencer manufacturer.

The type of silencer varies from country to country and may differ from the illustrations shown. The fitting

is identical.

Mount one silencer on each VM.

For the correct assembly of the silencer, see the installation instructions for the silencer.

Since the VM is asymmetrical, one of the VM

frames may have to be moved if the direction of

the airflow is changed later on.
