3.2 Assembly instructions

If you want to power the CM with 24 Volt DC SELV, connect this power supply correctly. Carefully follow the

directions on the CM stickers. Connecting incorrectly can damage the CM-PCB, among other things.

Install the volumetric flow controller only in dry rooms.

Install the volumetric flow controller only in frost-free spaces with an ambient temperature of at least 4°C.

An incorrect connection may damage the control.

Use only suitable tools and mounting material to install the volumetric flow control system.

Mount the VMs in the correct airflow direction (see section 5.4 1).

Install the CM within 1.5 metres of a 230 Volt AC or 24 Volt DC SELV power supply.

Connect the CM to a grounded power outlet, without an extension cord.

Install the CM at a distance from the VMs of no more than 1.5 m due to the length of the supplied ComfoNet-

RJ45 cable, or use a longer ComfoNet-RJ45 cable.

Make sure that there is always a minimum distance of 2 m between the VMs and the extractor hood outlet.

3.3 Installation instructions

The air volume controller can be controlled by up to five wired 0-10V control components. An example of

this is:

Zehnder CO2 Sensor type 0-10V.

The air volume controller can be controlled by several wireless (RF) control components. Examples of

these are:

Zehnder Timer RF;

Zehnder RFZ;

■

Zehnder CO2 Sensor RF;

■

An earthed wall socket must be available within 1.5 m or the length of the fixed (or supplied) power cord.

Always use the fixed (or supplied) 230 Volt AC power cord.
