10. Operation of the model helicopter
a) Charging the flight battery
The flight battery (1) is charged using the plug-in charger
(2) supplied. For safety reasons, always remove the flight
battery from the model.
Connect the flight battery using the reverse polarity
protected plug connection (3) to the charge cable of the
plug-type charger.
A red LED (4) is lit on the plug-type charger during the
charge process.
If the LED colour switches to green, the flight battery is
charged and must be separated from the charger.
For photo-technical reasons, the charging cable of the plug-in mains unit is illustrated in the wound-up
state. Before the first use, the cable retainer should be opened and the cable be unwound.
Attention!
During the charging procedure, place the LiPo battery on a fire-proof support or in an appropriate clay
container. Only charge the flight accumulator included in the delivery or an original spare flight battery
with your plug-in charger.
Never charge the rechargeable battery unattended.
The plug-in charger is to be used in dry indoor locations only. It must not get damp or wet. Never touch
it when your hands are wet or damp. There is a risk of a fatal electric shock.
