11. Final Assembly of the Model Airplane
Before starting with the assembly of the model, you should ensure an appropriate surface In order to attain excellent
airplane performances, your model is manufactured with a light plastic foam. The disadvantage of this material is,
however, a sensitive surface. Small inattentions during the assembly of the model lead very quickly to ugly dents and
holes.
a) Removing and installing the canopy
• In order to remove teh canopy, press the notch lever of
the canopy lock (1) forwards with a fingernail.
• Lift the canopy in the rear and then remove the cover
backwards.
• To install the cover, first insert the holding peg (2) into
the fuselage and push the cover right to the front.
• Now press the rear end of the cover onto the fuselage
and ensure that the notch lever of the cover lock locks
properly.
b) Checking the aileron function
Figure 15
• Before you can mount the wing (1), check the function
of the aileron.
• To this end, place the fuselage (2) and the wing on the
working surface so that the connecting cable of the
aileron (3) can be smoothly connected to output 1 of the
receiver (4).
You should pay attention to the correct polarity servo
connector. You can orientate yourself towards the
already connected plugs.
• Start up the transmitter, then push the control rod for
the aileron and engine functions (see Fig. 2, Pos. 5)
into the lowest position and connect the airplane battery
(5) to the flight control.
As previously with the charging device, a polarisation-safe plug (6) on the flight control also ensures the correct
connection of the airplane battery.
