The charging current should be approx. 1/10 of the capacity value of the inserted rechargeable batteries. In order to
avoid damage to the internal circuit paths and connections, please don't use fast chargers.
Connect the charger only if the rechargeable batteries (1.2V/cell) have been inserted in the transmitter.
Never try to recharge batteries (1.5V/cell) with a charger; danger of explosion and of fire!
When the rechargeable batteries have been recharged or new batteries have been inserted, turn on the transmitter
with the function switch (see figure 1, pos. 6) for test purposes.
The two red, yellow and green LEDs in the LED bar display (see ill. 1, pos. 2) blink rapidly at first (binding function).
After approx. 10 seconds, the LEDs stay lit and indicate the sufficient power supply of the transmitter.
If the power supply is not sufficient any more for a faultless operation, the two green LEDs switch off. In this case, you
should stop operating your model as quickly as possible. With a voltage of less than 8 V, the yellow LEDs switches off
as well. For further operation of the transmitter the rechargeable batteries have to be recharged or new batteries have
to be inserted.
In order to avoid the memory effect of NiCd rechargeable batteries, you should connect the charger only when the
rechargeable batteries are completely discharged.
c) Adjusting the transmitter antenna
The best transmitter emission to the model is achieved if you align the antenna in such a way that it is positioned at a
90° angle to the direct connection line transmitter/receiver.
Transmission to the model is worst when you point the antenna tip directly towards the model.
