11. Final Assembly of the Model Airplane
Before starting with the assembly of the model, you should ensure an appropriate surface
In order to attain excellent airplane performances, your model is manufactured with a light plastic foam. However, this
is very sensitive. Small mistakes during assembly of the model quickly lead to unsightly bumps or even holes in the
surface. Therefore, handle the model with care.
a) Mounting the elevator unit
• Pull the protective cover off of the three adhesive strips
(1) of the elevator unit (2) and attach the elevator unit
to the end of the fuselage from above.
• The rear edge of the fuselage (3) must be flush with the
rear edge of the dampening surface (4), indicated in
the drawing with a dotted line.
• Now suspend the fork head (5) of the elevator unit
control rod in the central boring of the rudder lever (6).
