Getting started with Analysis Vibration Sensor System
Having determined the position to mount the sensor, apply recommended adhesive to
the four magnets at the bottom of the sensor.
NOTE: The center magnet is the only area with a direct connection to the sensor
measurement elements.
With the adhesive well applied on the four magnets, fix the sensor to the mounting
adapter at the predetermined location. If satisfied with the position of the sensor,
press sensor to the mounting adapter to form a firm permanent bond.
The mounting adapter now becomes part of the sensor. To remove the sensor from
the measurement location for purposes of changing the batteries, the screw mounting
adapter must be unscrewed from the measurement location.
The defined maximum torque must be used to screw back the screw mounting
adapter on the measurement location.
If the adhesive mounting adapter is used, then the bond of the adhesive must be
broken by carefully turning the adapter with the specially designed adapter wrench.
Once the adapter and sensor are broken free from the machine surface, remove
residual adhesive from the adapter surface using a grinding wheel or a file.
