Getting started with Analysis Vibration Sensor System
Steps
1. Select location to install the sensor.
Choose the best possible location that ensures that horizontal, vertical and
axial movements are measured effectively.
Leave at least 40 mm (1 37/64") clearance between the stud mounting hole
and any corners or walls to allow access for the wrench used to tighten the
mounting adapter into place.
2. Use a grinding wheel to remove coatings such as paint from an area at
least 25 mm ( 63/64") diameter at the mounting location. This prepares the
machine surface for mounting the adapter.
3. Drill the pilot hole. Use a 3.5 mm (1/8") drill bit with depth gauge.
The hole must be at least 10 mm (7/16") deep for the mounting adapter to
seat firmly into place.
