5. Affix the mounting adapter by pressing it into the mounting surface, using a
turning motion to evenly distribute the adhesive. (If the centering pin is used,
screw the mounting adapter all the way into the prepared hole.)
Do not remove excess adhesive. If necessary, apply additional adhesive around
the mounting location for greater stability. If necessary, use adhesive tape to hold
the mounting adapter in place during hardening.
Affix sensor to mounting adapter
Determine the sensor position on the mounting adapter. Consistent measurement
of the orthogonal axes on any rotating asset is important. The sensor Z-axis on the
mounting adapter should correspond to the asset plane being measured.
