Client Mode
A wireless client station (WCS) is an interface created by the router, used to connect to a wireless access point
(e.g. public Wi-Fi hotspot).
Creating a client station is particularly useful for saving data on your SIM card if a public Wi-Fi hotspot is available.
Note: Adding a Wi-Fi interface in client mode automatically gives it priority over all other interfaces (WAN and
Mobile 4G). This mode should be used when you want to create a Wi-Fi repeater between a public access
point and your PC, tablet, phone or any other connected device.
IMPORTANT: The I-NET 151 router is equipped with an intelligent module that monitors Internet accessibility.
If the added Wi-Fi interface becomes inaccessible, the router automatically switches to the next
available Internet connection (WAN or Mobile 4G).
Client station configuration
To begin configuring WiFi Client first click the 'Scan' button to scan the surrounding area and attempt to connect
to a new wireless access point.
After which you will be redirected to the window shown below, where you will see list of available WiFi Access
Points in the area. Choose one according to your liking and press the Join Network button next to it.
You again will be redirected to following window, where you will need to enter WPA passphrase or other secu-
rity password depending on AP that you are connecting to, name yours network (it will be name of your wireless
WAN interface) and assign firewall rule.
